A new Project

Why a New Project?

I write these blogs not because I care if someone is going to read them. As a matter of fact, I don't think anyone reads them, yet I still write them. Why? Because I love it. It only takes me about 20–25 minutes, but it is creating a habit of being consistent.

Anyways, what's my new project? It is a tool, more like a Chrome extension, that will help make my life easier and save me some time, I guess.

So first, why do I need this tool? The answer is that I am really interested in knowing what's going on with my social media and stuff. I randomly opened my Following section and clicked on a profile, and I found out that I follow that person, but they didn't follow me back.

Till now, it sounds okay, but when I checked more profiles, I found even more people like that. So I decided to make a tool that can tell me who doesn't follow me back. It kind of sounds stupid, but I am a little insecure about this, so I decided to make that tool.

Today, as of 3 July 2026, I started working on it. I don't know how much time it is going to take to make this tool, but I will make it for all the platforms if I can. That's the ideal plan. I don't know if I'll be able to do it because I have made tools like a really powerful web stress tool and a vulnerability finder tool, but I have never worked on making a Chrome extension.

I read some documentation and found out that I have to pay Google to publish it for the public. But I want this tool only for myself, so I'll use it locally. I'm not spending money to publish it for the public. I make tools for my own comfort and convenience, and I also love testing my skills to their limits.

I started my coding journey with a Discord bot. I made some rookie ones, then stole someone's code, got a fucking virus, and eventually resolved it. It took time, and I really panicked when it happened. That virus was actually one of the reasons I bought a MacBook.

Anyways, I have to read a lot more documentation because I have a vision, but not a direction right now. I need to learn more about Chrome extensions and how they work. I know I can make it, but it is going to be difficult.
